A great and utterly complicating edition of the 2013 Magic Million 3 Year Old Classic. Big fields can generally mean big problems for runners who settle midfield, so drawing a wide barrier isn't as big a disadvantage as it may seem. I've always had a soft spot for John O'Shea's filly Hoss Amor, and she should be roaring fit after a canter around Canterbury against the older horses. Barrier 14 may pose a problem, but expect her to settle at the rear of the field and flash home off a hot pace set by the Waterhouse pair. Sizzling is all class and loves a strong speed. Expect he will be keeping her company in the finish. Driefontein was slightly disappointing at his first run this campaign but is a classy youngster. The hot tempo expected may play against her and is the only worry. Expect a bold run from the consistent Heza Jetsetter.

With the favourite scratched, the 2013 Magic Millions 2 Year Old race has been thrown right open. I've got a great liking for the Heathcoate trained Greytfilly for a few reasons. One, She's Grey. Two, She has a wicked turn of foot. Lastly, I tend to fall in love with horses who miss the kick.. flash home and run second. But tomorrow is the day, with the expected hot tempo, this race suits her style perfectly! Certitude looked like a superstar on debut but was slightly disappointing last time out (although I still think he's trying to get a clear run), expect a big improvement. Missy Longstocking has done nothing wrong and looks to have the run of the race, will definitely be around the finish. I'm Too Sexy and Calcatta the blow out chances.
